Harris Hill 07/2009 : I took advantage of the day off from work and the great weather to run up to Harris Hill with the camera. I want to thank Eric for letting me out to take some pictures and let me learn the layout in preparation for an event in November. Lighting was harsh, being a bright sunny Texas day. I shot at a variety of shutter speeds, from a fast of 1/500 to a slow of 1/60. Post-processing was in Aperture, adding a bit of contrast, some saturation, a mild curve, and a tiny bit of shadow and highlight recovery. In-camera the capture was RAW with a +1/3 exposure compensation dialed in. Camera was a Canon 40D, the lens a 70-200/2.8L/IS with mode-2 image stabilization turned on.

Bill on TWS : I'm on Texas World Speedway! Photos by Digital Photo Cafe. While not bad, the guy really needs to slow down the shutter some, show some motion blur.
